Nigeria vs Tunisia Lineups, Preview

One of the closest matchups in the 2025 AFCON so far will be the game between Nigeria and Tunisia in Group C. The two teams are on three points after the first round of group stage matches in the competition.

Tunisia tops Group C with three points and a goal difference of +2 after beating Uganda 3-1. Nigeria is second in Group C with three points but with a goal difference of +1 after beating Tanzania 2-1.

In their 3-1 win over Uganda, Tunisia looked dominant and took the lead in the 10th minute of the match through a goal from Ellyes Skhiri.

Elias Achouri doubled Tunisia's lead in the 40th minute, and at halftime they were 2-0 up. Achouri scored his second goal of the game in the 64th minute to make it 3-0 for Tunisia. Denis Omedi scored one back for Uganda in the 92nd minute.

Nigeria took the lead over Tanzania in the 36th minute through a goal from Semi Ajayi. Nigeria was leading 1-0 at halftime.

In the second half, Nigeria conceded in the 50th minute as Charles M'Mombwa scored for Tanzania. The draw did not last long, and two minutes later, Ademola Lookman scored Nigeria's second goal of the game, which would be the game-winner.

Nigeria vs Tunisia will kick off at 3 p.m. ET/ 12 p.m. PT in the United States. The match will kick off at 9 p.m. local time in Fes, Morocco, at the Complexe Sportif de Fes.

The match will be available to watch through select TV channels and streaming services in the United States and in other countries.
