Newcastle United have not yet made Inter Milan an offer for Davide Frattesi.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Italian international midfielder will stay at the Nerazzurri.
Yesterday, news emerged of fresh Newcastle United interest in Inter midfielder Davide Frattesi.
Reportedly, the Magpies have lined the 25-year-old as one of their main targets in midfield for the last couple days of the summer transfer window.
Newcastle have made contact with Inter to signal their interest according to various reports.
However, with so little time left in the transfer window, the Premier League side must move quickly if they are to get a deal in before deadline day.
According to Tuttosport, though, Newcastle have not lodged a serious bid for Frattesi.
The Magpies have still only been sounding out a deal.
Inter are not going to sell Frattesi for a cut-price fee before the transfer window ends.
Therefore, the margins are hardly there for Newcastle to sign Frattesi, reports Tuttosport.
As such, the former Sassuolo midfielder will continue to be a part of Inter’s squad for the season.
