Jurgen Klopp has given his take on the impending appointment of Ralf Rangnick at Manchester United.

Rangnick has been earmarked by the Man United board as the right man to take Man United forward, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer having been dismissed at the tail end of last week.

Not only does Rangnick have his own managerial accomplishments on his C.V, but he has also inspired the success of Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel, two former students of his.

“Man United will be organised on the pitch. That’s obviously not good news for other teams.” – via Fabrizio Romano

Unfortunately, we fear that the so-called Man United ‘banter era’ may well be coming to an end. The club have made an astute decision in appointing Rangnick, with a view to him moving upstairs.

March 19th at Anfield is the first scheduled meeting between Klopp and Rangnick. That may well be one of the most intriguing tactical battles in recent memory…
