Following yesterday’s agreement to sign Andy Diouf from Lens, Inter Milan will make one more signing this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri will sign a left-footed defender.
Inter have made their major midfield signing. Yesterday they agreed a deal with Lens for midfielder Andy Diouf, who will undergo his medicals today.
Reportedly, the total value of that deal is around €25 million with add-ons.
Diouf becomes Inter’s fourth signing of the summer. He follows Petar Sucic, Luis Henrique, and Ange-Yoan Bonny.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, though, Inter’s business is not quite complete yet.
The newspaper report that Inter plan to sign a defender before the end of the transfer window.
The Nerazzurri are specifically after a defender who is left-footed, the Gazzetta predict.
This following the departure of Nicola Zalewski. With the Pole gone, Carlos Augusto will need to be the regular backup to Federico Dimarco on the left flank.
Therefore, Inter want a different player who can back up Alessandro Bastoni.
