As Marcus Rashford is set to join FC Barcelona on loan, the club will plan on more departures this summer to bring in more signings. One of the players that is doubtful to have a future at Man United is Alejandro Garnacho.

The Argentinian winger is set to leave the club as teams like Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing him this summer. Garnacho does not appear to be in Ruben Amorim's plans for the new season.

While Garnacho's future at Man United is unclear, other players like Amad Diallo are set to play under Amorim next season. Man United are set to start their pre-season in the United States this week.

With Garnacho expected to stay behind in Manchester along with a few other players, Diallo was asked about his thoughts on Garnacho's future.

Amad Diallo on Alejandro Garnacho

When asked about Garnacho's future likely outside of Manchester United, the Ivorian winger gave a team-focused answer rather than addressing his teammate's situation.

Amad Diallo: "It's not really my concern. The only thing I'm thinking about right now is how we're going to learn together, as a team. That's the only thing I'm trying to focus on at the moment."

Diallo is expected to play in Man United's pre-season tour in the U.S. after featuring 46 minutes against Leeds United this past weekend.

Chris Wheeler from the Daily Mail reports that Garnacho, along with Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Tyrell Malacia, will stay at the club's training facility in Carrington during the team's pre-season tour.

Garnacho is currently linked to a move to either Chelsea, Tottenham, or Aston Villa, according to the Telegraph.

What's Next for Manchester United?

Man United will face West Ham United on July 26 at the MetLife Stadium. On July 30, the Red Devils will play against Bournemouth at Soldier Field. Their last game will be against Everton on August 3 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

After the U.S. pre-season tour, Man United will have one last preseason match before the start of the new season. They will play Fiorentina on August 9 at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils' first game of the 2025-26 Premier League season will be against Arsenal at Old Trafford on August 17.
