Notts County currently occupy the final playoff spot in the League Two playoff spots.
This is despite no wins in the last four games, with two draws and two losses.
They are just four points off the automatic promotion places, and would be one point off top spot had they won all of their last four games.
This should give the fanbase hope that they are going in the right direction.
Despite this, one player will not be part of their push for promotion to end the season.
Notts County have reported on their official club website, that defender Sonny Aljofree will return to Manchester United after a loan spell with the League Two side.
Aljofree joined Notts County in the summer with the aim of gaining first-team experience.
However, Aljofree returns to United after making 11 appearances for the club and scoring in a 4-1 win against Shrewsbury Town.
Aljofree, who has captained United’s Under-18 and 23 sides, helping guide the club to the FA Youth Cup in 2022.
He made 27 appearances on loan at Accrington Stanley, recording three goals for Accrington and securing two Man of the Match awards.
Sonny Aljofree has returned to Manchester United with our best wishes for the future.
The defender made 11 appearances after joining us on loan in the summer, scoring once in a 4-1 victory over Shrewsbury Town.
Notts County’s next three League Two fixtures see them take on Gillingham, Oldham Athletic and Crawley Town, who are in 16th place, 15th place and 21st place respectively.
On paper, a run such as this presents the club with an opportunity to build up a run of form as they aim to get back to winning ways and rebuild their confidence ahead of a key part of the season.
