AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has submitted the final starting line-up of his nearly five-year tenure at the club, and he saved some surprises for the last one.

It will be a night of emotions at San Siro as Pioli will not be the only one who bids farewell to the Milan fans. Olivier Giroud and Simon Kjaer will leave when their contracts expire meaning they will get a great send-off too.

The rather surprising reports from this morning have been confirmed. Antonio Mirante a farewell appearance in goal, with Davide Calabria, Fikayo Tomori, Matteo Gabbia and Theo Hernandez the back four in front of him.

Alessandro Florenzi is playing as part of the midfield, a position that he has often taken up during games coming in from the right, with Tijjani Reijnders next to him. Ismael Bennacer completes the trio, but he might have a slightly more advanced role.

Either way, the two flanks are comprised of Christian Pulisic on the right wing and Rafael Leao on the left, then finally Olivier Giroud will lead the line in his final appearance looking for two goals to hit 50 for the club.

Official Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Mirante; Calabria, Tomori, Gabbia, Theo Hernandez; Florenzi, Reijnders; Pulisic, Bennacer, Leao; Giroud.

Official Salernitana XI (3-4-2-1): Fiorillo; Pierozzi, Pasalidis, Pellegrino; Sambia, Coulibaly, Maggiore, Zanoli; Candreva, Kastanos; Tchaouna.
