On May 10, Lega Serie A confirmed that AC Milan’s clash against Torino at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino will take place on Saturday, May 18.

After tomorrow’s clash against Cagliari, Milan will have only two games left of the 2023-24 Serie A season, and it will be a welcomed thing for Rossoneri fans considering how this season has gone.

Although a second-place finish could be mathematically achieved this weekend if the Diavolo beat Cagliari and Juventus are unsuccessful against Salernitan, if both sides win, it could be decided next weekend in Turin.

This season has been one to forget for several reasons. However, a second-placed finish would be a welcomed parting gift from Stefano Pioli, considering the financial benefits that second place would grant Milan.

By no means will it become a reason to forget the disappointments this season has brought on a far too regular basis, though. Instead, it will act as a starting point for the next coach to build from, with a slightly improved budget.

Lega Serie A (via MilanNews) announced that the final away game of the season against Torino will now take place on May 18 at 20:45 CEST, and the game will be viewable on DAZN and Sky Sport due to that timing.
