Inter Milan youngster Valentin Carboni has joined Argentine giants Racing Club on a season-long loan.

Racing announced the arrival of the 20-year-old on loan without a buyout option earlier today.

Despite his enormous potential, Valentin Carboni has struggled for minutes in Serie A.

Indeed, he couldn’t find space at San Siro, forcing Inter to loan him out to Genoa in the summer.

However, Carboni failed to impress at Stadio Luigi Ferraris as the Griffins decided to terminate his stint in January.

Racing Club Sign Valentin Carboni on Loan from Inter Milan

Carboni was on the fringes during Patrick Vieira’s tenure at Genoa, making just one league start.

Though the player hoped Daniele De Rossi’s appointment could turn his fortunes around, that wasn’t the case.

After collecting just 354 minutes in Serie A, Carboni left the Griffins as a flop.

Yet, with the 2026 FIFA World Cup around the corner, he remains determined to earn Lionel Scaloni’s call-up.

Therefore, he returns to his homeland, looking to get his career back on track at Racing, the former club of Lautaro Martinez.
