The January transfer window is fast approaching, with many teams looking to bolster their squad.
Manchester United are no exception, despite over £200 million spent on player talent this summer.
The signings have mostly worked, and the form has picked up after a difficult start.
Forward Bryan Mbuemo won Premier League Player of the Month in October, and manager Ruben Amorim won the equivalent award for managers.
This came after a month which saw the club record three wins and zero losses, including a 2-1 win against Liverpool at Anfield, their first at the home of their biggest rivals since 2016.
There is a sense of resurgence in the air at Old Trafford. The decision by INEOS to bring back the staff Christmas party indicates that the feel good atmosphere is back at the club.
It has been reported by Scouts in Attendance on X, that United have offered €28 million euros (£24.5 million) to Olympiacos for 18-year old midfielder Christos Mouzakitis.
Their offer has been deemed low by the Greek side, who view his value at €30 million euros (£26.2 million).
With 16 appearances in all competitions, Mouzakitis has netted two goals and one assist.
He also won the Golden Boy Web Award for 2025 earlier this week.
Mouzakitis is an exciting youngster and United appear to want him to become part of the club’s journey back to the top.
It remains to be seen whether they increase their offer to the price tag that Olympiacos require, or if they will stand their ground in what they feel Mouzakitis is worth.
#mufc offer for Christos Mouzakitis is low for Olympiacos’s standards, at 28m euros. #rmcf bid is slightly higher, among the 2 leading offers
As long as any proposals don’t go above 30 million euros, Olympiacos will not negotiate https://t.co/1dzibRCuTi
