Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox are facing mounting criticism at Manchester United, with supporters increasingly turning against the club’s hierarchy following another disastrous start to the season.

Berrada, who arrived from Manchester City in 2024, serves as chief executive, while Wilcox oversees football operations as director of football.

Both have played important roles in Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s INEOS-led restructuring, which was supposed to transform United after years of decline under the Glazer family.

However, the promised revolution has failed to deliver sustained improvement on the pitch.

United spent approximately £163 million during the summer transfer window, focusing heavily on midfield while failing to adequately strengthen at left-back or centre-forward.

Those decisions have come under intense scrutiny, with Michael Carrick winning just two of his opening 12 matches this season despite guiding United to third place last term.

Sunday’s humiliating 3-0 defeat against Bournemouth extended their winless run to eight matches, leaving the Red Devils dangerously close to the relegation zone.

Old Trafford erupted in anger, with supporters directing X-rated chants towards the Glazers, Ratcliffe and Wilcox, while mocking the hierarchy’s supposed ‘best in class’ structure.

Frustrations have also emerged inside the dressing room.

Following United’s 2-0 Champions League defeat against Atletico Madrid, Lisandro Martinez publicly criticised Wilcox, declaring: “I expect more from our technical director.”

The Argentine subsequently apologised after meeting club officials, although reports suggested other senior players shared his frustration over recruitment.

Now, an extraordinary encounter involving two of United’s most influential executives has come to light.

Furious confrontation with Manchester United executives revealed

Manchester United YouTuber Adam McKola has revealed that he angrily confronted Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox during United’s humiliating 4-1 Champions League defeat against Como.

Speaking on The Club’s YouTube channel, McKola explained that he was sitting near the media section when he spotted the two executives heading towards the hospitality suites.

Unable to contain his frustration, McKola began shouting abuse towards the pair, branding them a “disgrace” and demanding they leave Manchester United.

He claimed Wilcox subsequently locked eyes with him through the glass-enclosed hospitality area for approximately 20 seconds as he continued his furious outburst.

McKola admitted he went “mental” during the confrontation, questioning Berrada’s appointment and pointing towards his previous success in a commercial role at Manchester City.

He repeatedly demanded that the executives leave United, reflecting the growing anger surrounding the club’s leadership.

McKola did not describe any verbal response from either executive, with the confrontation appearing to have been one-sided.

The incident occurred just days before Berrada’s future came under further scrutiny following the Bournemouth defeat.

With another season already threatening to unravel, the pressure is no longer falling exclusively on Carrick, as United’s senior decision-makers face increasingly fierce criticism.
