Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season.

The 28-year-old has not been a regular starter for the North London club and they could look to sell him in the summer.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that there could be a major exodus at Tottenham in the summer and Lo Celso could be ‘one to watch’. The Argentine could be a part of the Tottenham clear out.

The midfielder has started just six matches in all competitions for Tottenham. He needs to play more often at this stage of his career and staying at Tottenham might not be ideal for him. In addition to that, the North London club will look to improve their squad during the summer window and they need to raise some funds to boost their budget. Selling their fringe players would be ideal.

The South American midfielder is capable of operating in a number of roles and he could be a quality acquisition for most clubs. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can recoup a substantial amount of money for him.

The North London club already have James Maddison operating in a similar role and they will not be able to offer the 28-year-old ample game time next season. It would be ideal for the player to move on and join a club where he will be a regular starter. He is at the peak of his powers right now and sitting on the bench at Tottenham would not be ideal for him.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up.
