With two rounds and change left, multiple Serie A teams have clinched their objectives. The Champions League race is down to Atalanta, Roma, and Lazio. Bologna and Juventus have secured a top-five finish thanks to La Dea beating the Giallorossi on Sunday.

The Bergamaschi have one game in hand versus Fiorentina. It will take place on July 2nd, after the end of the season. Napoli, the Viola, and Torino are tussling for eighth place.

Roma and Lazio will monitor what Atalanta do down the stretch very closely. The sixth spot will grant access to the Champions League only if the Nerazzurri beat Bayer Leverkusen in Dublin and finish exactly fifth, Alfredo Pedullà informs. Instead, if they overtook Bologna or Juventus and concluded in fourth position, that wouldn’t impact the number of Serie A representatives in the top continental competition in 2024/2024. It’s pretty likely given their easy schedule and the fact that the Felsinei and the Old Lady will meet later this week.

Fiorentina would punch their ticket to the Europa League if they beat Olympiacos. However, that wouldn’t add a spot for other sides. Instead, it could potentially lead to no Italian sides in the third-tier cup, depending on their position.

It was a slow round down low as all relegation strugglers lost. Udinese will take on Lecce on Monday. The Salentini clinched the Serie A permanence thanks to Sassuolo’s defeat versus Genoa. The Neroverdi are second-to-last, with a two-point deficit from Frosinone and Empoli, three from Cagliari, and five from Hellas Verona.
