Only Real Madrid & Man Utd Ahead Of Inter Milan For Home Attendance In All Of Europe

Real Madrid are one of only two teams to boast a better home attendance than Inter Milan across Europe’s traditional top-five leagues.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, fallen Premier League giants Manchester United are at the top of the leaderboard.

Despite their epic fall after Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure, Old Trafford still attracts the most fans in European football.

Indeed, over 2.2 million spectators were in the stands of Man Utd’s home venue last season.

Only Man Utd & Real Madrid Boast Better Home Attendance than Inter Milan

Los Blancos are lagging slightly behind the Red Devils, with Santiago Bernabeu drawing around 1,000,000 fans last term.

However, the Spanish powerhouse and Man Utd are the only two European clubs with a higher home attendance than Inter Milan.

Indeed, San Siro remains one of the most frequently visited stadiums in Europe.

Last season’s Serie A runners-up registered an outstanding 1.96 million fans at the famous Giuseppe Meazza.

That figure makes San Siro the third-best attended home stadium across Europe’s elite divisions.
