Tottenham Hotspur boss Thomas Frank will look to get the best out of Mohammed Kudus this season

Signing Mohammed Kudus on a long-term deal is one of the best bits of business Tottenham have done in recent years. The Ghana international clearly looks like a Spurs player from the get-go, and his performances on the pitch indicate the same thing. It is fair to say that landing the 25-year-old in the summer was a real statement of intent by the Lilywhites as they looked to build on their Europa League success this season.

The North London club have endured a brilliant start to the new campaign, winning four of their opening fives games of the season. And it is fair to suggest that Mohammed Kudus has played a crucial role in helping Thomas Frank’s men get off to a flyer in the Premier League. The prolific winger’s impressive performances in back-to-back to games have already made him a fan-favourite at N17.

Kudus’ home debut for Spurs has surely one of the highlights of the season so far. The Ghana international managed to grab two assists against Burnley, making an instant impact from the right-flank by putting in two teasing crosses. The 25-year-old’s showboating against West Ham, his former team, did not go unnoticed as well, leaving Spurs fans chanting his name throughout the game.

Mohammed Kudus has certainly made a flying start at Tottenham

Tottenham are aiming to compete hard on all four fronts under Thomas Frank this season. To achieve that, the Lilywhites will need their key players to step up when it matters the most. This is where Mohammed Kudus will come in handy, as the prolific winger likes to showcase his talents on the biggest stages. The 25-year-old has also suggested that he is keen to impress at Spurs following a brilliant start to the season.

Now, John Wenham has also given Kudus his flowers by highlighting the Ghanaian’s impact under Thomas Frank. Speaking to Tottenham News, Wenham said,

“Kudus might be somebody who contributes to the team enormously, and maybe doesn’t get the goals and assists. I think his first goal is probably coming in, just a matter of time. He’s an outstanding player, one of our best players already.”

The Lilywhite Rose owner added,

“So any doubts about him are too early. I think I think he’s fantastic. I think he deserves the recognition he’s received so far. I’m sure the first goal is to come in, and I just think he’s going to be a brilliant player for Tottenham.”

John Wenham believes Mohammed Kudus is already proving to be a vital player for Tottenham under Thomas Frank. The Lilywhite Rose owner also backs Kudus to open his account for the Lilywhites soon as the 25-year-old waits for his debut goal. Wenham adds that Kudus ‘deserves’ recognition for his contributions this season, further indicating that the prolific winger is a ‘brilliant’ addition.

Spurs fans will hope that the prolific winger manages to continue his good form against Brighton in the upcoming games this weekend. Nothing would please the fans more than seeing Kudus open his account against the Seagulls and ensuring that Tottenham end up securing all three points away from home.
