Parma midfielder Franco Vazquez will relish his club’s Coppa Italia Round of 16 game against the Nerazzurri.

Franco Vazquez is excited that his club Parma will face off against Inter in the Coppa Italia, but warns that there are many game to be played before then.

“There is a lot of time before this game, as we have to think about the upcoming game. Our league is Serie B and we have to continue as such.

“It is nice to win and it will be a beautiful game against Inter, but there are many games to be played before then,” said the Parma midfielder according to FCInterNews.

The former Sevilla midfielder returned to Italy in July 2021 after spending 5 years in La Liga and he collected 198 appearances in Spain. Parma brought in the midfielder on a free transfer.

The Argentinean player scored 26 goals and provided 20 assists during his spell with Sevilla after he was purchased by former Roma sporting director Monchi.

The midfielder made his name at Palermo, where he played alongside Paulo Dybala and Andrea Belotti, before being to Spanish side Sevilla for a price tag of €16.8 million in July 2016.

He stayed at the Stadio Renzo Barbera from 2012 to 2016, but he went on loan to Rayo Vallecano in 2013.

Franco Vazquez made 109 appearances with Palermo, and scored 22 goals and provided 21 assists during his time with the Rosanero.
