Reports in Italy and Germany claim that Parma and Borussia Dortmund remain engaged in discussions over a potential deal USMNT star Gio Reyna, who has already agreed to a set of personal terms with the Serie A side.
Reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Florian Plettenberg, Fabrizio Romano and others indicate that there is an agreement in place between Parma and Reyna on personal terms, but there is still some way to go before an agreement is struck between Parma and Dortmund.
Still, reports from the aforementioned reporters claim that Parma remain confident that an agreement with Parma will be reached in the near future.
Reports in Italy claimed that Reyna was available for a fee in the region of €15m-€18m when fellow Serie A side Milan made an enquiry during the January transfer window.
It is expected that Parma will seek a discount on that fee given that the 22-year-old is now into the final year of his contract with Dortmund, expiring at the end of June 2026.
The 32-time USA international has struggled to cement a place in the Borussia Dortmund starting XI, particularly after a rough ride with injuries over the early stages of his career, which have forced him to miss 367 days of training and matches since the beginning of the 2021-22 season.
