Paul Scholes compares Sofyan Amrabat to Serie A legend after FA Cup final performance

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes was impressed by Sofyan Amrabat’s performance against Man City in Saturday’s 2-1 FA Cup final win.

The Reds put on an impressive display to defeat City at Wembley, providing a shock as most had Pep Guardiola’s side as clear favourites to lift the trophy.

Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo scored in the first-half to give United a comfortable two-goal lead at the break.

However, City pulled one back through Jeremy Doku in the 87^th minute, but it was too little to late to change the outcome of the game as United went on to secure Ten Hag’s second trophy in as many years.

Amrabat was one of the standout performers on the day.

The Morocco international, who is set to return to Fiorentina this summer, controlled the midfield and kept City’s best players – including Kevin De Bruyne – at bay throughout the game.
