The Milan derby is a fixture that has seen some truly iconic players square off over the years, on both sides of the city divide.

The late 1980s were a period when both Inter and AC Milan were experiencing high points, and so naturally the derby clashes saw some great individual battles between legendary players.

Former Nerazzurri great Andreas Brehme was one of them, and the German posted a picture of himself squaring off against Rossoneri icon Frank Rijkaard in a post on his official Instagram account.
