Player would welcome an approach from Chelsea and is sat there just waiting for one

One player would welcome an approach from Chelsea this window and is apparently sat there just waiting for one to come!

The issue is, I don’t think that many Chelsea fans would welcome their club to make an approach for this player, because he would not be a very popular target.

Alejandro Garnacho to Chelsea is just one story that will not disappear ,as much as the Blues faithful want it to.

We even had reports out just this morning suggesting that Chelsea still even want to sign Garnacho AS WELL as Xavi Simons, who they are now getting very close to signing apparently.

Simons AND Garnacho, as well as already signing Jamie Gittens, Liam Delap, and Joao Pedro for their new and improved attack would just be madness!

But would it be over kill?

To be honest, I think we might end up needing it this season because the Champions League is no joke. And adding that onto a season that is already very long and grueling is only going to increase fatigue and injury risk amongst our players.

So we have to have a big squad and strength in depth. It can cause issues with unhappiness, sure it can. But it might be smarter to make sure we have cover over anything else.

Garnacho waits on Chelsea

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Alejandro Garnacho would welcome an approach from Chelsea.

And further to that, a report from The Athletic that came out this morning says that Garnacho continues to wait for Chelsea.

It’s really not looking good for those Chelsea fans who do not want to see Garnacho anywhere near their club. It looks like it genuinely could happen at this point.
