Chelsea star Raheem Sterling has been suffering from sickness and issues with his back.

That is the view of manager Mauricio Pochettino, who outlined Sterling's condition ahead of their game on Monday against Everton.

The veteran winger has faced a lot of criticism from supporters for his poor displays in recent months.

Pochettino told reporters on Friday: "He sent a text last night or this morning, I don't know, to the doctor saying that he was vomiting."

Enzo Fernandez and Axel Disasi are also likely to miss the Everton game due to injuries.

Ben Chilwell is still a doubt, as he had fluid drained from his knee after a recent England game.
