Pending new Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly not going to be looking too far when seeking potential new signings for his new club this summer.
Of course, nothing has been confirmed yet between Chelsea and Pochettino, but all reports are still suggesting that Pochettino will soon be confirmed as the new permanent Chelsea manager now and going forward, but he will start in the summer when Frank Lampard’s caretaker role comes to an end.
The former Spurs boss will have a lot of decisions to make, and he reportedly wants to sign a new goalkeeper as one priority.
According to Ben Jacobs writing in his latest exclusive and extensive Chelsea news column for Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, Pochettino wants Premier League proven talent when looking at targets, and he mentions Brentford’s David Raya and Everton’s Jordan Pickford as options.

Also mentions a new striker and midfielder as the priorities.
“Pochettino also wants a goalkeeper – likely a No.1 – another central midfielder and, of course, a striker,” Jacobs said.
“The keeper is the most intriguing signing me. Inter’s Andre Onana is a realistic target. But Pochettino also wants proven Premier League talent. That’s why I would still keep an eye on Brentford’s David Raya and Everton’s Jordan Pickford. Pickford will be harder to get if Everton stay up having recently signed a new deal. Spurs are looking, too.”
