Sergio Conceiçao is currently in the phase of evaluating the players currently in the AC Milan squad, but that hasn’t stopped transfer links with various players.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) write that the Milan directors are already working to try to give the new coach useful and welcome reinforcements, even if the coach admitted that he wants to see what he has first. There could be interventions in all three outfield departments.
Attack: In addition to Monaco’s Akliouche and Stuttgart’s Leweling, Sporting CP’s Francisco Trincao has been added to the list of candidates for the role of winger. Trincao is represented by agent Jorge Mendes, like the new coach, and Sporting don’t want to sell but the player would be keen.
Trincao’s contractual situation helps given his deal expires in 2026. The Portuguese side bought him from Barça in 2023, paying €7m, and now he would cost no more than €25m despite the fact that he is having an excellent season (six goals and 11 assists across all competitions).
Another candidate also comes from Portugal: Pepê, Conceiçao’s favourite at Porto, who would come to Milan in a heartbeat too. The Brazilian has an Italian passport (a fundamental detail, given that the Rossoneri no longer have places for non-EU players) and is 27 years of age, ready to test himself in a new league.
