Premier League players reportedly 'uncomfortable' resuming season

The English Premier League is having discussions about a possible resume to the 2020 season, but it may not be going as planned. EPL players reportedly are "uncomfortable" resuming the season amid the coronavirus pandemic, according to ESPN's Alex Shaw.

It's really not surprising that Premier League players have their reservations about resuming the season when the world is still very much in the thick of this pandemic. It would be pretty hard to practice social distancing during training and matches, so it's unfair to blame players for wanting to hold off.

While the French leagues have canceled their seasons, it's not seeming like that's an option for the Premier League.

Although Arsenal and a few other clubs have opened their training facilities, England still remains on lockdown.

While Liverpool is at the top of the Premier League standings and would probably like to see the season resume, they'll probably be fine with things playing themselves out in the coming weeks.
