We’re back for another round of Premier League Predictions – and this time, we’ll be taking on the AI service ChatGPT once again.

We’re set for some tumultuous Premier League fixtures this week. As Everton prepare to host Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur gear up for a massive relegation six-pointer against Nottingham Forest, how will this week’s Premier League scores turn out?

As always in our Premier League Predictions, it is ten points for a correct score and five points for a correct result.

Bournemouth vs Manchester United

Essential Football: Bournemouth are a team that have underachieved somewhat this season. With more draws than any other team in the division, they’re a real wildcard – as such, their games are often hard to predict.

We’ll go for a narrow away win in this one. Manchester United are certainly a dangerous outfit and can carve teams open on a whim – given the openness of Bournemouth’s play, they should be able to score at least a couple of goals here.

EF’s Prediction: Bournemouth 1-2 Manchester United

ChatGPT: AFC Bournemouth have been difficult to beat recently, but their tendency to draw matches suggests they sometimes lack the cutting edge to turn performances into wins.

Manchester United, on the other hand, are in stronger overall form and are highly motivated as they push for a top-four finish. Their superior attacking quality and experience in tight games should allow them to edge this match, likely scoring a decisive goal late on.

ChatGPT’s Prediction: Bournemouth 1-2 Manchester United

Brighton vs Liverpool

Essential Football: Following their spectacular Champions League comeback against Galatasaray, Liverpool should be able to find enough inspiration to improve upon their shaky Premier League form.

With three wins in their last four, Brighton seem to have gotten over their mid-season slump. They also have had the benefit of a midweek rest, but Liverpool should have enough to come away with a win here.

EF’s Prediction: Brighton 1-2 Liverpool

ChatGPT: Brighton & Hove Albion are typically strong at home and play an expansive style, but that approach can leave them exposed defensively.

Liverpool FC are currently chasing European qualification and have the attacking firepower to exploit those spaces. Given their pace in transition and improved form, Liverpool are likely to create multiple chances and win comfortably.

ChatGPT’s Prediction: Brighton 1-3 Liverpool

Fulham vs Burnley

Essential Football: Burnley did well to hold Bournemouth to a draw last time out, but that was at Turf Moor – they won’t be able to do the same to Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Marco Silva’s men will see this as a ‘must win’ game if they want to keep the heat on the top seven. If the Cottagers fail to come away with three points in this one, they can forget about any European nights next season.

EF’s Prediction: Fulham 3-0 Burnley

ChatGPT: Fulham FC have been reliable at home this season and tend to control games against weaker opposition.

Burnley FC are struggling near the bottom of the table and have found it difficult to score consistently. Because of this imbalance, Fulham should dominate possession and chances, leading to a relatively straightforward win.

ChatGPT’s Prediction: Fulham 2-0 Burnley

Everton vs Chelsea

Essential Football: Chelsea were pretty dismal in midweek – a defeat such as that can crush a team’s confidence. They will have little time to lick their wounds, as they now face a stern test away at Everton.

The Toffees, in contrast to Chelsea, have looked like a grounded outfit all season. David Moyes knows his team’s limitations and has worked to mitigate them as much as possible – they aren’t the biggest scorers in the world, but we think that Everton can spring a surprise here.

EF’s Prediction: Everton 1-0 Chelsea

ChatGPT: Everton FC are known for their defensive resilience, especially at home, where they often make games difficult for stronger opponents.

Chelsea FC have shown inconsistency throughout the season, particularly when facing teams that defend deep. As a result, Chelsea may struggle to break Everton down, making a draw the most likely outcome.

ChatGPT’s Prediction: Everton 1-1 Chelsea

Leeds United vs Brentford

Essential Football: Brentford have won six games away from home this season – Keith Andrews’ heavy focus on set pieces and direct football have made them a dangerous team to face on the road.

Leeds are no slouches themselves, despite what their current league position might suggest. Their home record is solid, but their issues at the back – especially against set plays – will be the Whites’ downfall.

EF’s Prediction: Leeds United 1-2 Brentford

ChatGPT: Leeds United have been vulnerable defensively, conceding goals regularly due to their open style of play.

Brentford FC are well-organised and effective on the counterattack, which suits this matchup perfectly. Brentford’s attacking efficiency should allow them to take advantage of Leeds’ defensive gaps and secure a narrow away victory.

ChatGPT’s Prediction: Leeds United 1-3 Brentford

Newcastle United vs Sunderland

Essential Football: Predicting local games is never an easy task – especially with rivalries as fierce as the Tyne/Wear derby. Newcastle are a wounded outfit at the moment, having been trounced 7-2 by Barcelona at the Nou Camp – Sunderland, on the other hand, have been able to put their feet up.

With that being said, Sunderland’s form – especially away from home – is less-than-stellar at the moment. This one certainly won’t be pretty – we expect the spoils to be shared.

EF’s Prediction: Newcastle United 1-1 Sunderland

ChatGPT: The Tyne-Wear derby between Newcastle United and Sunderland AFC is typically intense and unpredictable.

Derby matches often ignore league form, and both teams tend to play with high emotion and urgency. This usually leads to mistakes and chances at both ends, so a high-scoring draw is a realistic outcome.

ChatGPT’s Prediction: Newcastle United 2-2 Sunderland

Aston Villa vs West Ham United

Essential Football: After three losses on the bounce in the Premier League and having won just one of their last eight, Aston Villa’s European dreams are slipping away from them in short order.

Meanwhile, West Ham have found a new lease of life – they will see this as a winnable game. It’s a stretch, but we think the Hammers can spring a surprise in this game.

EF’s Prediction: Aston Villa 1-2 West Ham United

ChatGPT: Aston Villa have been strong at home and are pushing for European qualification, which gives them extra motivation.

West Ham United have struggled for consistency and results in recent matches. Villa’s attacking quality and home advantage should be enough to secure a narrow win.

ChatGPT’s Prediction: Aston Villa 2-1 West Ham United

Tottenham Hotspur vs Nottingham Forest

Essential Football: Tottenham are riddled with issues from top to bottom as things stand – but we shouldn’t forget that they have shown signs of improvement in their last couple of outings.

Nottingham Forest can grind out results, but we can’t see anything other than a Spurs win here. We have started to see urgency from the Lilywhites – now that the chips are down, their quality should be able to shine through.

EF’s Prediction: Tottenham 3-1 Nottingham Forest

ChatGPT: Tottenham Hotspur have been inconsistent this season and often fail to control games for long periods.

Nottingham Forest are a resilient side that can frustrate opponents, particularly in tight matches. Given both teams’ inconsistency, a draw seems the most logical outcome.

ChatGPT’s Prediction: Tottenham 1-1 Nottingham Forest
