PSG are at risk of losing Gianluigi Donnarumma, with Inter Milan, Man City, Man United, Chelsea, and Real Madrid keen to sign him.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Parisians are ready to sign a replacement in Lucas Chevalier.
Inter Milan have been paying close attention to the situation of Gianluigi Donnarumma at Paris Saint-Germain.
At the moment, the 26-year-old’s contract with the French champions expires in less than a year. He is still on the same five-year deal he signed in 2021, running until the end of next June.
Therefore, Gianluigi Donnarumma could be a major free transfer opportunity next summer.
As things stand, Donnarumma still has not signed a new contract with PSG.
And as the Gazzetta report, talks between the Italian international and the Champions League winners have not really taken off.
The main stumbling block is the new wage structure that PSG are trying to implement.
The Parisians are aiming to base wages more around performance- and appearance-based add-ons.
And if Donnarumma is to leave the French capital there would be no shortage of interest in his signature. Inter are one possibility. However, as the Gazzetta note, the 26-year-old would be on several clubs’ radars.
Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea would all be keen to bring Donnarumma to the Premier League. Then, Real Madrid could see the Italian as a long-term solution in goal.
And in the meantime, the Gazzetta report, PSG are eyeing up a long-term replacement for Donnarumma – 23-year-old Lille goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier.
