Tottenham are keen on bolstering their attack in the summer for next season

Tottenham need to get back to winning ways in the Premier League if they are to secure top-flight status for next season. The Lilywhites are stranded in the bottom half of the table, having won just two of their last 17 league matches. As a result, they run the risk of losing key players in the summer and could also miss out on attracting top talent if they fail to finish the season in a respectable position.

There is a clear need to bring in reinforcements in the summer if the North Londoners want to compete at the top end of the Premier League table next season. The ongoing injury crisis at N17 has completely depleted the squad, and the lack of investment from the Lewis family in January has meant that Spurs do not have many creative options in the final third.

That is exactly why the Lilywhites must focus on signing players who can make an impact in the attacking areas of the pitch. With James Maddison still recovering from an ACL injury and Dejan Kulusevski not expected to return to first-team football anytime soon, it is important that Spurs sign a player who can operate either as an out-and-out #10 or on the left wing.

Tottenham might need to fend of competition to sign Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers

Tottenham need to be proactive in the summer transfer window if the club is serious about closing the gap on its rivals next season. It is important for the Lewis family to put their money where their mouth is and start signing players who can make an instant impact at N17. The need for reinforcements is imminent, but it is equally important that the Lilywhites bring in players who suit the next manager’s playing style.

Recent reports have linked Spurs with €70m Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers. On an impressive 17 G/A this season, the England international is facing an uncertain future at Villa Park and would be open to a new challenge if the right opportunity comes his way. The Lilywhites view him as their “dream” target for the summer after missing out on the talented attacker earlier last year. They have continued to keep tabs on him, and the club believes Rogers is the ideal long-term solution to Spurs’ ongoing attacking woes.

The North Londoners, however, may need to fend off competition to land Morgan Rogers in the coming months. As per TEAMtalk, PSG have also entered the race to sign the England international in the summer. The Ligue 1 giants are keen on bolstering their attack by bringing in a creative midfielder. Luis Enrique is a huge admirer of the player and wants the French giants to do everything it takes to land the 23-year-old for next season.

Morgan Rogers is a must-buy for Tottenham!

Tottenham should do everything possible to sign Morgan Rogers in the summer. The prolific attacker is indispensable to Unai Emery’s side, playing a crucial role in their push for a title challenge this season. He is one of the first names on the team sheet and has proved his worth in the Premier League during his time at Aston Villa. As per Sofascore, the England international has already scored eight goals and provided five assists in the league this season, helping Villa compete at the top end of the table.

He would slot straight into Spurs’ side and quickly become a fan favourite. Rogers’ availability is one of the main reasons why the Lilywhites are keen on signing him in the coming months. He rarely suffers injuries and tends to play week in, week out for the Villans. The 23-year-old’s fine form for Unai Emery’s side has also placed him ahead of Jude Bellingham in the pecking order for the national team.
