Paris Saint-Germain is in self-reflection following their elimination from the UEFA Champions League round of 16. Nonetheless, whatever happens, there needs to be an exit of players and begin rebuilding the squad.

There will be plenty of players linked to moves outside the French capital. One possible departure is midfielder Leandro Paredes. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan is interested in the 27-year-old, whose contract expires in 2023.

However, before thinking about making a move for the Argentine, they’ll need to offload a couple of players to make room on the wage scale.

The Italian club could offload two midfielders out of Arturo Vidal, Roberto Gagliardini, and Matias Vecino. Furthermore, getting rid of two players like Vidal and Vecino would free up around €10 million in the Inter wage budget.

Allowing Inter Milan to have room for Paredes wages, which sees him earn €7 million per season at Paris Saint Germain, a high figure for Inter Milan to reach, but the Serie A club could find a middle ground by spreading the salary out.
