When asked about Chelsea’s interest in an interview with Italian outlet Tuttosport (via The Independent), Kolo Muani responded:

“I don’t know anything about Chelsea, I’m trying to focus on the Club World Cup,” Kolo Muani said. “We’ll see what happens on the market at the end of the competition. If it were only up to me, I’d stay here as I’m really happy at Juventus.”

L’Equipe recently reported that Chelsea have shifted their focus to Randal Kolo Muani as they search for a versatile attacking option this summer.

The French forward is best known for playing through the middle but is also comfortable operating on either wing. Chelsea have had their eye on Kolo Muani for some time and are now in discussions with PSG about a possible transfer.

Enzo Maresca’s side won’t be alone in the race, though. Juventus, who signed Kolo Muani on loan in January, are also pushing to keep him after he impressed during the second half of the season.

In April, GIVEMESPORT reported that Tottenham Hotspur are ready to make another move for the French forward if Juventus chooses not to make his loan permanent.

Tottenham are expected to pursue attacking reinforcements this summer, regardless of whether Ange Postecoglou stayed on as manager. Kolo Muani’s next step remains uncertain, but interest in the 26-year-old is picking up.
