Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe limped off the field for the Parisians on Saturday afternoon against Metz with a suspected thigh injury.
The 22-year-old scored a brace in PSG's 3-1 victory before being pulled in the 87th minute after a hit to his thigh. After the match, manager Mauricio Pochettino said the club is not concerned with the injury and thinks it's nothing serious, per Sports Illustrated.
PSG is due to face Manchester City in the semifinal first leg of the Champions League on Wednesday and will hope to have Mbappe in the lineup.
The 22-year-old entered Saturday's match with 23 goals and seven assists in 28 games. His play has helped PSG hold on to the top spot in Ligue 1, with Lille and Monaco nipping at the Parisian's heels in the standings.
Mbappe's contract will expire in 2022, and his future with PSG is unclear as he's one of the most expensive players in the world.
