Paris Saint-Germain aims to turn around the 3-2 aggregate situation in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie against Barcelona. Kylian Mbappé didn’t perform well in the first leg, so many expect the Frenchman to bounce back on Tuesday.

Despite Mbappé’s lack of significant impact during the game, the capital club did score two goals and have a few minutes of brilliance before Barcelona retook the lead.

There are still another 90 minutes to play, so the final outcome remains uncertain. Furthermore, one pundit believes the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner owes everyone a revenge game, and he’ll provide that at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.

“In the first leg, there was something wrong, there were gaps,” Jérôme Rothen said on RMC Sport (h/t Le10Sport). “We expected something different—the state of mind of a great player, and he cannot fault his attitude like he did in the first leg.

“So on that, he owes us a revenge [game], because if there is no revenge on that side, people will automatically stay focused in the short term on this double confrontation against Barcelona, and the elimination will reflect the “attitude of Kylian Mbappé.”

RMC Sport recently shared that the PSG team feels confident about turning the tables and staging a comeback against Barcelona this Tuesday.

The club is optimistic about this chance, and behind the scenes, manager Luis Enrique has believed from the outset of this matchup that the outcome would be determined at the Montjuïc.
