Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain seem to have their sights set on Napoli’s standout player, Victor Osimhen. It’s rumored that acquiring him could cost approximately €130 million.

Both clubs are eager to bolster their attacking lineups for the upcoming season. Nevertheless, there’s a journalist who suggests not overlooking Arsenal’s potential interest in Osimhen.

Italian journalist Valter De Maggio recently stated on Radio Kiss Kiss that the 25-year-old goal scorer wants a move to the Premier League, but more specifically to the Gunners.

“Osimhen wants the Premier League and, more specifically, Arsenal,” Maggio said (h/t Le10Sport). “If the right offer did not come from England, the center forward would seriously consider the proposal which has already been sent to him by Saudi Arabia.

“This is a very important offer from an economic point of view. But it is clear that the Saudi championship is technically not comparable to major European tournaments. For the moment, no club is ready to pay the clause.”

Nonetheless, these remarks conflict with TEAMtalk’s information, which reports that Osimhen remains completely committed to the possibility of joining Chelsea despite Mauricio Pochettino’s exit from his managerial role.

Furthermore, Chelsea have surged ahead of PSG and Saudi Arabian clubs in the competition to secure the striker. While the reports contradict each other, one thing is for sure: Osimhen is likely to leave Napoli this summer; where he’ll go is a mystery at this point.
