As Milan toppled Inter away from home, it was evident that their players hadn’t forgotten about the same. Leao, Youssouf Fofana and Tammy Abraham were quick to recreate the same as they uprooted an Inter corner flag before covering it up with Fofana’s jersey.

Fans reacted emphatically to the same as neutrals rejoiced about the Milan derby replicating its former levels of rivalry. The game itself was a spectacle for fans as an 89th minute goal handed the Rossoneri all three points.

AC Milan snatched all three points at the San Siro after a nervy encounter culminated in a 2-1 win for the visitors. The Italian did well to redirect the ball past Maignan, who stayed rooted to his spot. Following the game, Inter fell to seventh position while Milan are one spot ahead with an equal number of points. Inter are winless in their last three games and take on Udinese before hosting Crvena Zvezda in the Champions League.
