According to the report on X, formerly Twitter, Leao has already informed the Rossoneri about his decision.

Leao, 25, is under contract with Milan until June 2028 and has a €175m clause included in his contract.

Milan, however, are seeking offers exceeding €70m ‘guaranteed’ according to Plettenberg.

Bayern Munich are said to be among the clubs monitoring the Portuguese star, but have only had preliminary contacts and are not yet preparing an offer at this stage.

The Bavarians are still assessing their options for the left wing, and Leao is on their list.

Leao scored 12 goals and provided 13 assists in 50 appearances across all competitions with Milan. His contribution, however, was insufficient to enable the Rossoneri to qualify for any European competition.

Milan are also ready to send Tijjani Reijnders to Manchester City, with the Dutch midfielder expected to undergo medical tests on Sunday.
