Former Juventus star Fabrizio Ravanelli says Napoli should've made a move for Antonio Conte.

Ravanelli believes Napoli would've avoided this season's problems if they had hired Conte after Luciano Spalletti left the champions last summer.

He told Radio Kiss Kiss: "It can happen that you have a less than brilliant year. After Spalletti's departure, it was in the air that it would be a not easy. It's logical that when you play in an important team like Napoli, you should have the personality to continue to do well. Instead this year there have been a thousand problems.

"Conte? I know him because I played with him. I believe he could have continued Spalletti's work. To do so it was necessary to choose a credible coach, which in my opinion was not completely done. Already from the choice of the first coach I thought that it would have been an easy season.

"Osimhen? He's among the best three/five attackers in the world. He has incredible ferocity, he's not afraid of anything. It won't be easy for Napoli to replace him."
