Cagliari goalkeeper Elia Caprile has emerged as one of the likeliest candidates to replace veteran star Yann Sommer at Inter Milan.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri scouts have given the 24-year-old rave reviews.

Inter Milan will most likely let Yann Sommer leave the club as a free agent at the end of the season.

Indeed, the 36-year-old’s contract runs out next June, with the club reluctant to offer him fresh terms.

Therefore, the Serie A giants are in the market for a new goalkeeper.

Elia Caprile has been outstanding since swapping Napoli for the Unipol Domus last January.
