RB Leipzig chief Schröder delivers update on Spurs loanee Werner

RB Leipzig chief Rouven Schrder has delivered an update on Timo Werner.

On-loan at Tottenham, Werner's season is over due to injury.

Schroder told BILD: "We have already had brief contact with Timo, and of course he wished him a speedy recovery.

"The end of the season is bitter for him. He was good, was a regular player and put in good performances and scored for Tottenham. So far, the loan has delivered what all parties had hoped for."

Spurs can sign Werner permanently for 17m.
