Yan Diomande remains one of the most sought-after young players in European football after RB Leipzig reportedly rejected a bid worth €100 million for the Ivory Coast international.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a remarkable rise over the past year.

He has established himself as one of the Bundesliga’s brightest talents while also making an impact on the international stage.

Interest in Diomande has grown rapidly, with Manchester United among the clubs previously linked with the forward.

However, reports earlier this month suggested the Red Devils would be reluctant to spend around €100 million should they decide to pursue a deal.

Diomande’s profile has only increased further during the 2026 World Cup.

The winger was named man of the match in Ivory Coast’s opening victory over Ecuador.

Manchester United star Amad Diallo scored a late winner in that game after coming off the bench.

Away from the pitch, Diomande recently shared an emotional letter through The Players’ Tribune.

He reflected on his childhood in Abidjan and revealed that he used to wear a Manchester United shirt with Cristiano Ronaldo’s name written on the back.

RB Leipzig stand firm

According to information shared by Philipp Hinze on X, RB Leipzig have now rejected a €100 million package for the attacker.

The report states that the proposal consisted of approximately €90 million plus €10 million in add-ons, but was deemed insufficient by the German club.

The bidding club is Liverpool.

Leipzig are reportedly expected to receive an improved offer after rejecting the opening proposal.

It is also claimed that personal terms would not be an issue if an agreement can eventually be reached.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain have not yet submitted an offer despite previous speculation linking the French champions with the player.

Leipzig’s stance remains clear for now.

The Bundesliga side reportedly want to keep Yan Diomande for at least one more season and are understood to be considering an improved contract package as they attempt to fend off growing interest from across Europe.

With the transfer window still in its early stages, the battle for one of football’s most exciting young talents appears far from over.
