Real Madrid will host FC Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu this Saturday on the occasion of the tenth matchday of LaLiga.
On the eve of this new edition of El Clasico, Lamine Yamal has generated controversy due to statements he made about the Merengue club in his recent appearance in the Kings League.
When Yamal, 18, was asked ironically if Porcinos (a Kings League team) was like Real Madrid, the young player answered: "Of course, yes… they steal, they complain."
The Spain international also said that he has already scored against Los Blancos before, so he now prefers to score against Porcinos. He also laughed while recalling that the last time he visited the Bernabeu, Barcelona won 4-0.
Logically, his words did not sit well in the Real Madrid locker room. And Dani Carvajal, full-back for the Merengue club and Yamal's teammate in Spain, will take matters into his own hands, according to a report.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Carvajal, 33, will speak with Barcelona's number 10 about his recent comments.
"In the white squad's locker room, they consider his comments to be disrespectful, in addition to the fact that they could alter the harmony within the (Spanish) national team," the cited outlet indicates in its report.
"From the white club, they intend to speak with the Blaugrana player. It will be the Real Madrid captain, Daniel Carvajal, who does so once the match next Sunday at the Santiago Bernabéu concludes," Ramon Fuentes wrote.
"Because, aside from the fact that what he said is considered 'stupid,' they consider the blaugrana player's words to be 'disrespectful,' whether in this case referring to Real Madrid, or if he were to do so in reference to any other First Division club," he added.
The same report also mentions Spain's upcoming matches against Georgia and Turkey, scheduled for November, indicating that this situation could affect the harmony of the Spanish players.
