Real Madrid star confirms partner swap with fellow Brazilian footballer

Real Madrid central defender Eder Militao has had plenty of time on his hands over the past year during his return to fitness from an anterior cruciate ligament injury. It’s given him time to become involved in one of the more curious stories of filling the Brazilian gossip pages.

Militao replied to the Instagram story of Taina Castro as they played head tennis together saying ‘my perfect partner’, confirming a relationship between the two, after the pair had been seen with each other. Castro is an influencer and has two children with Flamengo defender Leo Pereira, from a relationship beforehand.

Militao has also split from his former partner Karoline Lima in the past 18 months, shortly after Lima gave birth to their son. The most bizarre thing is that Lima is now in a relationship with Flamengo’s Pereira, meaning the pair have essentially swapped partners in a relatively short space of time. It certainly makes for a intriguing dinner table.
