Real Madrid are unlikely to make any signings during the winter transfer window, but there could be departures. Xabi Alonso has three left-backs and three strikers in his squad, so there is scope for one of each to leave.

And this is especially the case for the striker department, where there is Kylian Mbappe, Gonzalo Garcia and Endrick Felipe. The former has been Real Madrid’s best player this season, and it means that his understudies have seen few minutes – and this is especially bad for the latter, who has yet to make an appearance this season.

Endrick returned from injury in September, but despite being named in all seven matchday squads since then, he has not played a minute. Mbappe has not played every minute in this period, but when he has been taken off, it has been Gonzalo that Alonso has turned to.

Because of this, Endrick has become increasingly frustrated, especially as he needs to play in order to guarantee his place in Brazil’s squad for the 2026 World Cup. Because of this, he has now decided to leave Real Madrid when the transfer window re-opens in January, as reported by Diario AS.

Endrick has many options for possible loan club

Endrick has attracted significant interest in recent weeks, with a number of clubs being aware of his lack of prominence at Real Madrid. As such, he will be able to choose from many when January comes around, although he has reportedly decided that he will not stay in La Liga if he does leave.

Endrick is said to prefer a move to a team competing in the Champions League or Europa League, and one of the clubs to fit into this criteria is Marseille. The Ligue 1 side want to add the Brazil international to Roberto De Zerbi’s squad for the second half of the season, and right now, they look a good bet to get him.
