On Friday, Fichajes reported that Real Madrid initially set a price tag of around €100 million, believing his youth and potential would draw strong interest from top European clubs.

But the market hasn’t responded as expected—so far, no teams have been willing to meet that valuation. As a result, the club is considering lowering its asking price to help move the player and broaden the list of potential destinations.

Diario AS recently reported that Arsenal are eyeing a move for Real Madrid star Rodrygo, but there are some obstacles in the way. The biggest concern for the Gunners is Rodrygo’s wages.

Arsenal have already backed off from pursuing Nico Williams due to his salary demands, and Rodrygo’s weekly pay is even steeper. The Brazilian is currently earning about €240,385 a week—roughly £206,000—which would make him one of the club’s top earners. Only Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard, and Declan Rice currently make more.
