Redknapp: Newcastle attacker Almiron getting rewards for hard work

Newcastle United are reaping the benefits of the hard work put in by a star player.

The Magpies were slightly concerned about the form of Miguel Almiron earlier this season.

However, former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp believes that Almiron's hard work is now paying off in the past two games [scored two goals].

I like Almiron, I love the energy and enthusiasm he plays with," he told BetVictor.

"He's always pressing, always trying to make things happen for his side.

"What a brilliant goal that was from him, he can be lethal from that position on his left foot.

He's really knuckled down and worked on that side of his game, every credit to the lad."
