Federico La Penna will be the referee for this weekend’s Serie A match between Torino and Inter Milan.

This is confirmed by the Italian FA, via FCInterNews.

Inter Milan travel to Piemonte to take on Torino this weekend.

Sunday’s Serie A clash could prove to be a huge match in the context of the title race.

Inter’s fate is not in their hands. They are three points behind Napoli at the top of the table with three matches to go.

However, the Nerazzurri will still be keen to put pressure on the league leaders.

Meanwhile, the Partenopei face Genoa immediately after Inter’s match against Torino.

Therefore, if Inter are to take three points, then Napoli will need a result in order to regain top spot.

Federico La Penna To Referee Torino Vs Inter Milan Clash – Marini On VAR

The referee for Sunday’s match will be Federico La Penna.

Assisting La Penna in his duties will be Alessandro Lo Cicero and Dario Cecconi.

The role of the fourth official, meanwhile, will fall to Kevin Bonacina.

In the VAR booth, Valerio Marini will oversee the match to ensure to correct any errors by the on-pitch officials.

Assisting Marini in his duties will be Rosario Abisso.

Inter will be hoping that the focus stays on the action on the pitch rather than refereeing controversy.
