Released Liverpool midfielder Oxlade-Chamberlain agrees Besiktas deal

Released Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is in Istanbul to close a deal with Besiktas.

Several Premier League clubs have shown interest in the former England international.

But Turkish giants Besiktas have pushed hard to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Now The Times' Paul Joyce, who has a good insight into Liverpool, reports the parties have agreed on a contract.

Oxlade-Chamberlain will undergo his medical in the next few days, before signing for Besiktas.
