Report – Al-Hilal Consider Hijacking Galatasaray For Türkiye Megastar To Reunite Him With Simone Inzaghi

Galatasaray’s pursuit of Inter Milan star Hakan Calhanoglu has taken a blow as Al-Hilal joined the race to sign the Turk.

Per Turkish media outlet Milliyet via FCInterNews, the Saudi Pro League giants want to reunite the 31-year-old with Simone Inzaghi.

Despite Galatasaray’s genuine interest in Hakan Calhanoglu, their unreadiness to meet Inter’s demands could leave them empty-handed.

Indeed, the Serie A runners-up have made their stance on the midfielder’s price tag abundantly clear.

They don’t want to sell Calhanoglu for less than €35 million.

Though the Turks are aware of Inter’s demands, they’re unwilling to cross the €15m threshold to close a deal.

As such, Calhanoglu’s transfer to Istanbul is hanging by a thread.

Meanwhile, Al-Hilal could take advantage of Galatasaray’s stubbornness to lure the ex-AC Milan playmaker to the desert.

Furthermore, they have an ace up their sleeves.

It’s Simone Inzaghi, the man who lured Calhanoglu to Inter four years ago and launched him into stardom.
