Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez continues to work separately from the group as the team prepares for a heavyweight clash against Lazio.

Per Sky Sport via FCInterNews, El Toro had a ‘personalized’ training session today, just like three other first-team stars.

Lautaro Martinez defied pain to help Inter beat Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final.

However, he has had to pay a heavy price. Indeed, a thigh injury forced him off last weekend’s win at Torino.

Furthermore, he will likely skip Sunday’s home game against Lazio.

Lautaro Martinez Works Separately Ahead of Inter Milan vs Lazio Game

Lautaro’s return to training can certainly encourage Simone Inzaghi.

Even though he’ll probably be out of contention for Lazio’s visit, Inter can realistically expect to have him for the final weekend.

Indeed, the Nerazzurri will take on Como in the final Serie A round.

More importantly, the 27-year-old should be fit for the Champions League final on May 31.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Pavard, Davide Frattesi, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have also trained separately from the group.
