AS Roma is opening the door to a potential move to sign Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas, according to a report from the Italian-based outlet Corriere dello Sport (via Le10Sport).

Roma’s possible push to sign Navas hinges on whether PSG will bring in Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma on a free transfer deal. Although PSG has been heavily linked to this possible signing, the two sides are yet to come to terms on a long-term contract agreement.

Roma is keeping a close watch on Navas’ uncertain future with PSG. The Costa Rican goalkeeper did sign off on a new contract extension deal earlier this year, but he may now be on par to lose his starting goalkeeper role to Donnarumma next season.

Roma relied on Pau Lopez as its go-to goalkeeper over the recent campaign. Lopez notched nine clean sheets over 34 appearances in all competitions this past season.

Roma may be on the verge of a notable roster overhaul over the upcoming summer transfer window.
