Inter Milan have identified Nicolo Rovella and Ederson as potential replacements for the exit-bound Hakan Calhanoglu.

Per Italian journalist Matteo Barzaghi via FCInter1908, the Serie A duo ranks highly on Inter’s list of priorities.

Hakan Calhanoglu looks set to cut ties with the Nerazzurri after four years.

Indeed, his transfer to Galatasaray seems inevitable despite Inter’s prohibitive asking price.

However, it will take almost €40 million to lure the 31-year-old away from San Siro.

Inter would likely invest every penny from Calhanoglu’s exit into the market.

Particularly, they’re keen to sign a top-class midfielder to fill the vacancy.

Nicolo Rovella is the prime target, yet Lazio insist on the Italian’s €50m release clause.

Although Lazio’s demands would normally blow Inter out of the water, Calhanoglu’s exit will force Beppe Marotta’s hand.

Indeed, Inter cannot afford not to replace a player of Calhanoglu’s quality.

Therefore, they keep their eyes peeled for value.

Atalanta’s Ederson is another exciting profile, but there’s no chance La Dea would sanction his departure for less than €50m.
