Atalanta are reportedly willing to reconsider their asking price for Inter Milan top target Ademola Lookman.
According to La Repubblica via FCInterNews, the player’s wish to join the Nerazzurri has softened La Dea’s stance.
The Serie A runners-up have identified the 27-year-old as their number-one priority for the rest of the summer.
Furthermore, they have already agreed on personal terms with the player, who’s ready to move to San Siro on a multi-year deal.
Inter refused to meet Atalanta’s initial €50 million valuation, hoping to close the deal on better terms.
Indeed, they’ve been hoping to drive the price down.
Although their opening €40m opening bid fell short of Atalanta’s demands, the deal looks likely.
However, Lookman’s desire to continue his career at San Siro has made La Dea change their stance.
They’re now open to selling the Nigerian star for €45m. That’s an acceptable figure for Inter.
Therefore, the agreement for Ademola Lookman looks closer than ever.
